K. Sivasubramanian (55), a businessman, his wife Saradha (50) and their son Naveen (25) were killed after a man, who allegedly entered their house at Chettipalayam here on Tuesday evening, hit them with an iron rod.
Sobhana (27), daughter of the couple, who is pregnant, was injured in the attack. Six sovereigns of jewellery was missing. The body of Naveen was recovered from a well situated near the house.
Sivasubramanian was involved in real estate business and owned a lorry that supplies water. Police sources suspect the involvement of a lorry driver.
