A total of 4,509 candidates will write the selection test for post graduate teachers to be conducted by the Teachers Recruitment Board in this district from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on January 10.

Tests will be conducted in 11 centres including Government Higher Secondary School at Perambalur, St. Dominique Higher Secondary School, Thanthai Hansrover Higher Secondary School, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Higher Secondary School, Panimalar Higher Secondary School, Sri Ramakrishna Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Sharadadevi Higher Secondary School, St. Joseph Matriculation Higher Secondary School and Aruthra Matriculation Higher Secondary School.
Flying squads
One hundred and sixty four differently abled persons, 37 blind persons will write the examinations while 37 teachers have been appointed for writing examinations on behalf of blind students. Besides, 253 room supervisors and 22 flying squad have been appointed.
