An official team from Tangedco conducted surprise check on various power connections and booked 21 connections for different irregularities.
The team members conducted surprise check on 1,188 domestic connections and 37 industrial connections in New Bus Stand, LIC Colony, CTO Colony, Balaji nagar, a part of Yercaud road, and Azhagapuram areas recently.
Fine slapped
Discrepancies were noticed in 21 connections and a fine of Rs. 10,103 was slapped on them, according to a press release issued here on Monday.
