The Southern Railway would run a pair of special passenger trains between Villupuram and Katpadi from February 20 to April 15. A statement from the Southern Railway has given out the following schedule:
The Villupuram—Katpadi Daily Passenger Special (Train No.06842) will leave Villupuram at 4 a.m. and arrive Katpadi at 8.45 a.m. It would halt at the following places: Venkatesapuram, Teli, Mambalapattu, Ayandur, Mugaiyur, Thirukkoilur, Adichachanur, Andampallam, Tandarai, Thiruvannamalai, Turinjapuram, Agaram Siblandi, Madimangalam, Arni Road, Sedarampattu, Onnupuram, Kannamangalam, Kanniyambadi, Pennathur, Vellore Contonment and Vellore Town. The train would have the longest halt at Tiruvannamalai from 5.45 a.m. to 5.50 a.m. and at Vellore Contonment from 8.08 a.m. to 8.10 am., and in all other places it would halt just for a minute.
Tthe Katpadi—Villupuram Daily Passenger Special (Train No.06841) will leave Katpadi at 4.35 p.m., and arrive Villupuram at 9.45 p.m. At Vellore Contonment, it will halt from 4.55 p.m. to 5.15 p.m. and at Tiiruvannamalai, from 7.38 p.m. to 7.40 p.m. At all other stations, it would halt just for a minute.
