Special teams have been formed to check the sale of Chinese crackers in the district. The Union Government has banned the sale.
Tahsildars and sub-tahsildars are the monitoring officers.
The teams would conduct surprise checks. Officials have asked fireworks sellers not to stock more than they were authorised to. Rule violators shall be booked under Explosives Rules.
