A special programme for registering the biometric data for issuing Aadhaar card to students of high and higher secondary schools will be held from October 12 to 20 at a total of 246 schools in the district. In a release here on Sunday, S. Ganesh, District Collector, said that the special camp would be open for members of the public. This apart, the camp would be organised at 11 taluk offices, two municipalities in Pudukottai and Aranthangi and the Collector’s office. Those who had not obtained the card could register their data, the release added.
