A special camp to receive forms for inclusion, deletion, correction and transposition of entries in the electoral rolls will be held on October 11 at all polling stations in Cuddalore district.
According to a release, designated officers will receive the filled in forms between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the day of the campaign. As many as 62,628 applications were filed in Cuddalore district during the special campaign held on September 9 and October 4 in 2256 polling booths in Cuddalore district.
The applications included 48,265 for inclusion, 3,003 for deletion, 8,295 for correction and 3,065 for transposition of entries in the electoral roll.
The special summary revision of electoral rolls with reference to January 1, 2016 as the qualifying date is underway from September 15 to October 14.
