Special camps for electoral rolls verification held

Special camps held for inclusion and deletion of names in the electoral rolls and verification of details in the rolls in 11 Assembly constituencies in 3,233 polling stations received good response in the district on Sunday.

Collector V. Sampath visited a polling booth at Sarada Vidyalaya Higher Secondary School and inspected the process.

He said that applications for name inclusion, deletion and corrections can be submitted till October 24. Corporation Commissioner K.R. Selvaraj visited a polling station in the city.

Likewise, special camps were also held at all 1,569 polling stations in Namakkal district.

Collector V. Dakshinamoorthy inspected the camps at Municipality School in Namakkal Fort and a few other polling stations.

Officials also said that electors can also visitwww.elections.tn.gov.infor online registration.
