A technical snag in the engine of Tiruchendur Express (Train No.16105) disrupted services of south-bound trains from Chennai in the early hours of Sunday.

The train was stopped near Anumanthanagar railway gate near Dindigul railway station early in the morning. Later, the train was pulled to the station by another engine. After rectification of the snag, the train left the station.

Due to this disruption, Nellai Express and Pearl City Express trains from Chennai were detained for around 45 minutes, railway sources said.
