Six-day life skill training programme

A six-day training on ‘life skills’ sponsored by Nehru Yuva Kendra concluded on Friday. In all, 40 students underwent the training organised at Mount Zion Matriculation Higher Secondary School near here.

Sundara Mahalingam, District Youth Co-ordinator of Nehru Yuva Kendra, said the training aimed at promoting creativity and self-confidence. Night sky watching and visit to Government Museum would form part of the programme. Jayabharathan Chellaiah, correspondent of the school, spoke on the importance of developing life skills as part of personality development. S.Ganesh, District Collector, delivered the valedictory address and gave away certificates to participants.
