The significant role played by the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) in the overall growth of the country for the past six decades was highlighted at the Republic Day celebrations held at the Salem Steel Plant here on Monday.
Raman, Executive Director of the Salem Steel Plant, hoisted the National tri-colour and took salute at the march past presented by contingent of Central Industrial Security Force, Township security personnel and students of Sri Vidya Mandir Matriculation Higher Secondary School, at a colourful function at the plant’s Hill View Stadium.
Mr. Raman commended the contributions made by the employees.
