RSS chief in Kanyakumari

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwath reached Kanyakumari on Friday to participate in a training programme for RSS workers from Southern Tamil Nadu and Kerala at Amirtha Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Saravanantheri near Kanyakumari.

The training programme that began on April 27 would go on till May 12.

Mr. Bhagawath would stay in Kanyakumari and leave for Chennai by train on May 12.

Three-tier security arrangements had been made in Kanyakumari district ahead of the RSS chief’s visit. Security had been beefed up in Kanyakumari town, police sources said.
