Firms told to submit report on vacancies
Public and private sector concerns in Vellore and Tiruvannamalai districts have been asked to submit the E.R. (Employment Report) 1 notifying the vacancies for the period ending December 31, 2014 to the District Employment Office, Vellore. According to a release from the Collector, R. Nanthagopal, the public and private sector firms are required to send E.R. 1 report once in three months and the E.R. 2 report once in two years to the District Employment Officer under the Compulsory Vacancies Notification Act 1960. Companies which failed to submit the reports are liable for prosecution under the Act, the Collector said. – Special Correspondent
