The Press Club of Valliyoor on Saturday moved into the new premises, constructed on an outlay of Rs. 13 lakh released from the MLA’s Constituency Development Fund.
Radhapuram MLA S. Michael Royappan, who released the funds, formally inaugurated the press club building and Executive Officer of Valliyoor Town Panchayat Vijayalakshmi handed over the keys of the new building to the office-bearers of Press Club of Valliyoor.
Chairman of Valliyoor panchayat union Azhaganantham, president of Valliyoor Town Panchayat Lawrence, town panchayat councillor Eswaramurthy and former councillor Maharasi participated in the function.
