There will be no power supply in the following areas of Thanjavur district served by the Orathanad sub-station between 9.45 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. on Saturday on account of routine maintenance works at the station. The areas are Pinnaiyur, Therkkukottai, Pappanadu, Aambalapattu, Cholankarai, Karukkadipatti, Therkoor and neighbouring areas, according to a release here by the Tangedco.
There will be no power supply from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on Saturday (May 16) in the following areas: Thondaimanallur, Keeranur, Udayavayal, Kultahur, Neerpazhani, Vemmani, Mandaiyur, Puliyur, Thennathiraiyanpatti, SIDCO estate, Bharathidasan University and Anna University. An official press release issued here on Friday said that the shutdown was in the wake of the periodical maintenance of the sub-station at Thodaminallur.
