Pamphlets distributed

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel distributed pamphlets to passengers at the Salem Junction on Friday warning them against transporting crackers by trains. On the direction of P. Rajmohan, Divisional Security Commissioner, a team of CRPF men led by V. Govindarajan, Assistant Security Commissioner and C. A. Samnath, Inspector of Police, distributed pamphlets containing the serious consequences of taking crackers along with them while travelling in trains.

The pamphlet also warned of stringent action against those violating the rules.

The RPF personnel distributed pamphlets in Kovai Express, Kurla Express, Shatabadi Express, Salem – Karur passenger, and also to the people waiting on the platforms.
