David Raj, a National Service Scheme volunteer of the Saint Joseph’s Higher Secondary School here has been selected to participate in the coming Republic Day parade in Delhi.
Headmaster L.C. Belvendirum, who felicitated the 12th standard student on behalf of the school, said that the institution was proud of him.
Pointing out that the prestige associated with the participation in the Delhi parade was more this year in view of the scheduled presence of the President of the United States of America Barack Obama, he said that David Raj was one of the two school students selected from South Zone.
