Annual Day

The Annual Day celebrations and graduation ceremony for 10th standard students of Fusco’s Matriculation School, Madurai, were organised recently. M. Kannan, Principal, Saraswathi Narayanan College, the chief guest, advised the students to chart out short and long-term goals and work with courage and self-confidence. Sr. Cecilia Ammal, correspondent, presided over the function. Fr. Appolin Claret Raj, Rector and Parish Priest, Shrine of Our Lady of Veilankanni, blessed the students. Aruna welcomed the gathering. Sr. Motchapackiam, Principal, offered felicitations. Meena proposed a vote of thanks.

567 get offer letters

As many as 567 students of P.S.R. Group of institutions in Sivakasi received offer letters from Chief Guest K. Virupakshan, Principal, Education and Research, Infosys, Chennai at a function organised on May 9. “It is important that students update themselves to survive the competitive world. I encourage you to embrace change and develop employability skills,” he said. R. Solaisamy, Managing Trustee, P.S.R Group of Institutions; K .R. Viswanathan, Director-Academic Planning; K. Ramasamy, Principal, PSRR Engineering College for Women; and B.G.Vishnuram, Principal, spoke.

Placement orders given

A total of 1,300 students of various streams of engineering of Kalasalingam University were given placement orders at Srivilliputtur on Sunday.

Final-year B. Tech. students got their placement orders from Head, Quality Management, (South India) TCS, Pattabiraman.

He said that the students tasted victory by making most of the opportunities at the university.

They should give back the society new technology, innovation or technical advancement.

He said that Chinese companies were set to come to India as the number of employees in China was coming down.

Twenty-five students of Hearing and Speech Impaired Programme got their placement orders from V. Udhayasankar of NASSCOM. Vice-Chancellor S. Saravanakumar and Registrar V. Vasudevan spoke.
