NSS camp

National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers of Agricultural College and Research Institute, Killikulam, rendered community service at a seven-day special camp at Murappanadu.

The programme came to a close on Sunday evening. Various programmes such as eye screening camp, health camp, planting of saplings, veterinary camp, rally on awareness against drugs and alcohol and temple cleaning were organised by the students. The lecturers talked about soil conservation measures, water conservation strategies and plant protection measures to the farmers.

V.Subramanian, Dean, presided over the valedictory function. M.Vengatesan, NSS student representative, presented the annual report. Prizes were given to children who won competitions.
