Applications for the examinations to be conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, applications for plastic Aadhaar cards and for corrections in Aadhaar cards, and application for passport can now be made through the e-seva (e-service) centres. These are run by the Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation in all taluk offices in Vellore district.
Registration
According to a release from R. Nanthagopal, Collector of Vellore, candidates can apply for permanent registration in the TNPSC, apply for the TNPSC exams, making changes in the TNPSC applications and obtaining copies of the TNPSC applications. The following would the fee for the various services:
Permanent registration — Rs.50; application for exams — Rs.30; making changes in the TNPSC application — Rs.5; making changes in the application and obtaining copy of the application — Rs.20. Facilities have been made in the e-seva centres for payment of the fees and obtaining the acknowledgement immediately.
