NHRC team visits victims’ villages

A team from National Human Rights Commission went to the villages of a few victims of Seshachalam forest encounter on Thursday.

The team led by Senior Superintendent of Police Sumedha Dwivedi, after finishing enquiry with families of 12 victims from Tiruvannamalai districthere on Tuesday, proceeded to Dharmapuri district to meet the families of remaining victims.

Then they came back to Tiruvannamalai on Thursday district and visited the victims again at their houses in Vettagiripalayam, Murugapadi, Gandhi Nagar and Kalasamuthiram villages.

They also met the family members of witness Sekar in Gandhi Nagar village.
