NCSC team to visit Thoothukudi

THOOTHUKUDI

Officials from the National Commission for Scheduled Castes would arrive in the city on a three-day visit on Thursday to probe the May 22 anti-Sterlite agitation.

The officials would investigate the death of four persons belonging to the Scheduled Castes, who were among the 13 killed in police firing. The Commission has also invited others from the community to come forward and share their views during its visit.
