Having worked under former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, Commercial Taxes Minister K.C. Veeramani has said that he now wondered if he should continue in politics following her demise.

The Minister, while speaking at a function to distribute free cycles to school students at Pudupettai near Natrampalli on Wednesday, he said he had closely followed Jayalalithaa, her way of life, the way she ran the government and led all.

“When I keep thinking of all this everyday, I feel that I do not need politics. I have worked as a Minister under the control of such a good leader. I wonder if I need more than this, if I need politics. Several thoughts like this keep coming. When I think of her work everyday, there is no desire to move on,” he told the gathering.

Meanwhile, a group of 50 persons belonging to “Deepa Peravai” waved black flags at the Minister when he was on his way to the function.
