Marginal dip in Dharmapuri pass percentage

The district registered a pass percentage of 94.25 in the SSLC examinations, the results

of which were declared on Friday.

It was 0.52% higher last year.

Of the 22,893 candidates appeared for the examinations, 21,577 passed.

Girls recorded a pass percentage of 94.87, and boys 93.68.

Of the 302 schools appeared for the examinations, 118 registered all pass. Among them were 56 government high schools and higher secondary schools.

Subject-wise pass percentage is as follows: science recorded the highest pass percentage of 99.77

followed by social science 98.66, English 98.86, language 97.05, and mathematics 96.07.

The pass percentage in mathematics was the lowest.
