About 13,890 candidates appeared under Group B on the second day meant for ITI and diploma holders, D.Pharm and catering technology candidates. On the final day, nearly 26,500 candidates turned up, with qualifications from standard VIII to Plus Two.

On feedback from companies on the quality of the talent pool available here, Ms. Kanimozhi said, “The companies were generally happy. Candidates from rural and semi-urban areas could as well match their urban counterparts.”
The job fair at Tiruchi attracted the largest turnout by far both in terms of candidates and the participating companies and correspondingly the number of candidates who had landed jobs were also high, Minister for School Education Thangam Thennarasu said.
