Left-out children to be covered today

Polio drops were administered through 1372 centres in the district on Sunday.

More than 5,430 staff and members of various voluntary organisations took part in the exercise. S.Ganesh, Collector, inspected the exercise at municipal welfare centre at Kamarajapuram, new bus stand, Annavasal panchayat union, Vadaseripatti, Kulathur and Keeranur.

The left-out children will be covered on January 19 and 20.

Nagapattinam

Polio drops were administered through 1027 centres in the district. K.A.Jayabal, Fisheries Minister, administered the drops to children at Government Hospital here. Children of nomads and children in transit were covered at bus stands.
