Laptops stolen

As many as 10 laptops were reportedly stolen from the Government Girls Higher Secondary School at Vinayagapuram in Attur on Saturday.

As many as 547 laptops were kept in a strong room, while 472 laptops were stored in the school headmistress’s room. The laptops were meant for distribution to students.

Two police personnel in two shifts were on duty along with a security woman Chinnapillai. On Saturday morning, Chinnapillai found the lock of the strong room broken open and informed the HM. Attur police found 10 laptops missing. Inquiry is on.
