DMK president M. Karunanidhi on Tuesday warned that the future of Tamil fishermen would be in a state of permanent danger if Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi failed to step in and put an end to the attacks on them by the Sri Lankan Navy.
Reacting to the arrest of 35 Tamil fishermen by the Sri Lankan Navy, he said it had crossed all acceptable limits.
“We must put an end to it,” he said.
