Karunanidhi calls on Rosaiah

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam president M. Karunanidhi on Friday called on Governor K. Rosaiah at Raj Bhavan.

Accompanied by DMK general secretary K. Anbazhagan and deputy general secretary Durai Murugan, Mr. Karunanidhi described the meeting as a courtesy call.

Conveys his happiness

In a chat with reporters, the DMK president said that he knew Mr. Rosaiah for long and conveyed his happiness on the appointment.

“[I am] Happy” was his reply to a question on the launch of services by the Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation.
