“Karnataka CM meeting PM, a tit-for-tat”

May 02, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:39 am IST - KUMBAKONAM:

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddharamaiah’s meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi over Mekedatu smacks of ‘tit for tat’ attitude that is detrimental to the concept of unity in diversity, Tamil Maanila Congress leader and former Union Minister G.K. Vasan said here on Thursday.

“Subverting court rulings”

Mr. Vasan told presspersons that Mr. Siddharamaiah was meeting the Prime Minister barely days after a delegation of political leaders from Tamil Nadu met Mr. Modi seeking justice for the State.

The Karnataka Chief Minister was only subverting court rulings on water release in Cauvery, he said.
