Jipmer entrance examination for admission to MD/MS & D.M./M.Ch/PDF courses for the July 2017 session will be conducted on Sunday across various test venues.
The examination for MD/MS is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m at 29 test venues across eight cities, including seven centres in Puducherry and PDF from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. in two cities, including one test venue here.
In the afternoon, the examination for D.M./M.Ch. from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. will be held in three test venues in two cities, including two test centres here. A total of 12,852 students had applied for MD/MS, 1494 students for D.M./M.Ch. and 413 students had applied for PDF Entrance Examination.
The number of seats to be filled for MD/MS course is 105, D.M./M.Ch. 19 seats and PDF course is 25 seats for the July 2017 session.
The expected date of declaration of results is on or before May 31 for all the courses. The counselling for MD/MS is scheduled on June 14 and for DM/M.Ch/PDF on June 9.
The classes are scheduled to start from August 3 for all the courses.
