AIADMK men offer prayers across Kancheepuram district

May 11 started with prayers for the AIADMK cadres in Kancheepuram, rather in Tamil Nadu, as the party loyalists woke up early and assembled at the places of worships in their respective areas to offer prayers to the different forms of Almighty seeking His grace to get their beloved party leader released from the legal tangle.

At Kancheepuram, prominent temples, mosques, churches and places of worship of other religions, became abuzz with activity as the AIADMK cadres visited them in small groups to offer prayers.

While, Minister, Gokula Indira participated in the special pujas held at Sri Vazhakarutheeswarar, Sri Kamakshi Amman and Sri Chithragupthar temples early in the morning, the Kancheepuram MLA, V.Somasundaram led a team of party office-bearers and workers to Sai Baba temple and Padavettamman temple at Sevilimedu, Sangupani Vinayakar temple, Adhi Kamakshi Amman temple, Ashrad Syed Sa Hameed Ovliya Dharga in Big Kancheepuram, Theradi Anjaneyar temple etc.

Similarly, the Kancheepuram AIADMK (West) district secretary and Wallajahbad MLA, B.Ganesan took part in the pujas and prayers organised by the party workers in his Assembly segment and as well as in the party district domain.

All the ward level secretaries have been directed to conduct similar prayers in their respective wards without fail, sources added.
