It was the turn of international students to enthral the audience at Infusion 3.0 on Saturday, which was the highlight of the third day of Riviera 2019’s annual International Sports and Cultural Carnival hosted at the Vellore Institute of Technology.

After the scintillating performance of Ayushman Khurana, Andrea Jeremiah and playback singer Sathyaprakash on Friday night, students eagerly lined up outside the Anna Auditorium in the VIT Vellore campus on Saturday morning for Infusion.

Sekar Viswanathan, vice-president of VIT, inaugurated ‘Infusion.’ Sandhya Pentareddy, executive director and S. Narayanan, pro-vice-chancellor of VIT, participated in the inaugural function.

Over 120 students displayed the cultures and traditions of their respective countries through music and dance.

The chief guest of the event was Nehal Chudasama, a model and Miss Universe India. She interacted with the students and selected the best performances.

Apart from dance and music, the students were also treated to rib-tickling stand-up comedy by Auto Ram Prasad and Getup Srinu at the second day of ‘Sahiti’, a medley of cultural, art and literary events in Telugu.

Later in the evening, Telugu playback singer and music director Devi Sri Prasad gave a scintillating performance of Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film songs.
