Inflow into the Stanley Reservoir at Mettur continues to be on the rise for the second consecutive day as it has increased from 5,268 cusecs on Tuesday to 10,960 cusecs on Wednesday.

Public Works Department officials said that the water level also increased from 68.11 feet on Tuesday morning to 69.16 feet on Wednesday. The storage also increased from 31.10 thousand million cubic feet (tmcft) to 31.984 tmcft against its full capacity of 93.47 tmcft.
