Pranav Hari and Rahul Humayun from IIT-Madras have emerged winners in the Chennai edition of Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2018.
As many as 625 teams participated.
They have won a prize money of ₹75,000 and are gearing up for the zonal round and then for the finals at the national level.
Runners-up Giridhar. S and Varun Ananth Murthy, also from IIT-Madras, won ₹35,000.
The 14th edition of the quiz, which is held over two months, will cover 38 cities and will have five zonal rounds with the final in Mumbai.
Those winning the final round will get a cash award of ₹5 lakh.
The theme of this year’s quiz is 150 years of business of Tata Group. Giri Balasubramaniam hosted the quiz.
