Responding to the statement made by the Chief Minister, Lt. Governor Kiran Bedi said she was not “personally afraid of anything”.
In a message to reporters, Ms. Bedi said, “I request the Chief Minister not to use threatening words towards a constitutional office and maintain decorum in his speech and in notes he writes to me”.
The Lt. Governor said if the Chief Minister failed to change his attitude, she would be compelled to make the file noting made by Mr. Narayanasamy public.
“I am was compelled to inform the Government of India the conduct of Chief Minister already as he was becoming exceedingly impolite in his notes on file and letters,” Ms. Bedi said.
The government expected her to be a rubber stamp, she said, adding when a file was sent to Raj Nivas it would be read with “application of mind and rules”.
