A hotel worker has been killed and four others sustained injuries when the car in which they were travelling met with an accident here on Wednesday.
Feroz Jaffarullah (25) of Mathalangula Street with his friends viz. Jayaraj, Gauthaman, Kirubakaran and Senthil were in the car owned by him. When the car was speeding in Tindivanam direction, Kirubakaran who was driving the car lost control and the vehicle rammed into median killing Feroz on the spot. Four others who sustained injuries were rushed to the hospital. A case has been booked.
