Hall tickets for SSLC supplementary exams

Private candidates who had applied for SSLC supplementary examinations, scheduled for June/July, can download their hall tickets from Thursday.

According to a press release from the Directorate of Examination, the hall tickets will available in www.tndge.in. Students must enter their register number and date of birth to access the hall tickets.

Candidates without hall ticket would not be allowed to appear for the examinations.

Movie screening session

The Mysore Association will conduct a movie screening session at the Club House, Mayflower Shakthi Garden, on Sunday at 10 a.m. Girish Kasaravalli’s Koormavathaara will be screened on the sidelines of the Association’s general body meeting on June 21.

Applications invited

Tamil Nadu Open University has invited applications for M.Sc. Counselling and Psychotherapy and PG Diploma in Psychological Counselling through distance education.

A release from the organisation says that Vazhikatti Mental Health Centre, Coimbatore, will be the Western Regional Centre.

RAF sports meet

The 23{+r}{+d}annual sports meet for Rapid Action Force battalions began here on Tuesday at the 105 Battalion grounds in Vellalore.

According to sources, the 105 Battalion will go on till June 22 for men and women of 10 battalions – 99 to 108.

The Deputy Inspector General of the Central Reserve Police Force Ajay Bhartan inaugurated the sports meet on Tuesday evening.

The finals would be held on June 22.

Panel formed

The Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH) has formed a committee to process unclaimed bodies upon direction of the Directorate of Medical Education (DMR).

According to officials, the committee comprised the Resident Medical Officer, the Heads of Departments of Forensic Sciences and Anatomy and the coordinator of the free ambulance service. The panel must meet on a daily basis and take actions for preserving all unclaimed bodies by embalming them. If the bodies remain unclaimed for a long duration, the committee can decide to hand over the body to the Coimbatore Medical College’s Anatomy Department for study purposes. There are at least ten unclaimed bodies lying at the CMCH.
