Governor interviews V-C candidates

The Governor-Chancellor, Ch. Vidyasagar Rao, interviewed the candidates shortlisted for the Vice-Chancellor’s post of Madurai Kamaraj University, University of Madras and Anna University on Friday.

According to Raj Bhavan officials, the interview lasted five hours and Higher Education Minister K.P. Anbalagan was present as an observer.

Each of the three shortlisted candidates for MKU and University of Madras were interviewed in two sessions in the morning.

The interview for candidates for Anna University was held in the afternoon, an official said.
