Former DMK MP K.R. Subbian died in Coimbatore on Sunday following age-related illness, party sources said. He was 82.
Subbian is survived by wife, a son and three daughters, the sources said.
He was Rajya Sabha MP from 2000-2002 and was resolution committee secretary of the party, they said.
