Engineering degrees conferred on 731 candidates

Engineering degrees were conferred on as many as 731 candidates at the 12th Graduation Day of SKP Engineering College, Tiruvannamalai.

The University Grants Commission Vice Chairman H.Devaraj conferred bachelor's degree on 564 candidates and masters degree on 167 candidates.

He also decorated 29 candidates who took the university ranks with medals.

In his graduation address Mr.Devaraj said that the young engineers need to work hard to succeed and they should realise their responsibility as engineers.

He exhorted the young graduates to keep learning all through their lives.

College Chairman K.Karunanidhi presided over the function and principal R.K.Gnanamurthi welcomed the gathering.
