Collector E. Vallavan has advised the political parties to adhere to the norms on setting up hoardings and other advertisement materials. Addressing representatives of political parties here on Thursday, he said strict action would be taken against those flouting the norms on defacing of public and private buildings. Hoardings and digital boards should be set up only at notified places after due permission, he said.
“Fertilizer stock adequate”
: Collector Darez Ahamed said adequate fertilizer and urea have been stocked at godowns in the district. Presiding over the grievance day meeting here on Thursday, he said the district had registered 148 mm of rain this month against the usual 173 mm.
