The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam has decided to stage a demonstration in support of cane farmers who are demanding private sugar mills to pay dues for the cane they supplied last year as per State Advised Price.
The district unit of DMK will stage the demonstration in front of the Collectorate here on Monday.
Former Minister and Tiruvannamalai south district secretary of the party E.V. Velu will preside. North District Secretary R. Sivanandam will participate in the protest.
