The DMK on Saturday announced candidates for the four Assembly constituencies for which the by-poll will be held on May 19.
Party president M.K. Stalin said former minister Senthil Balaji, who recently joined the DMK, would be the candidate for Aravakurichi constituency.
Former Minister N. Pongalur Palanisami is the candidate for Sulur constituency, and Dr P. Saravanan will contest in Tiruparankundram. M.C. Shanmugaiah is the candidate for the Ottapidaram (reserved) constituency.
