DMK functionary’s son summoned by CB-CID

The Crime Branch CID of the Tamil Nadu police has summoned Thendral Manimaran, 27, son of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam’s Coimbatore rural district Thendral Selvaraj, to ask him about his proximity with Thirunavvukkarasu, the prime suspect in the Pollachi sexual abuse case.

According to sources in the agency, Manimaran was asked to appear before the Investigation Officer in Coimbatore on March 28, 2019. The CBCID also summoned A. Nagaraj alias Muthusamy, 28, of Pollachi in connection with the case.
