DMK cadre of Perambalur celebrate A. Raja's release

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam cadre and supporters of former Union Telecommunication Minister A.Raja burst crackers and distributed sweets in Perambalur on Tuesday following the grant of bail to the former Minister in the 2G spectrum case.

Groups of supporters of Mr.Raja, who was first elected from the Perambalur Lok Sabha constituency in 1996, burst crackers at Sangupettai, old and new bus stands, Palakkarai and near the Kamaraj Arch in the town. They also distributed sweets and chocolates to passers-by. Supporters at his native Velur village in the district also celebrated the grant of bail to the son of the soil.
