Annamalai University Vice-Chancellor M. Ramanathan inaugurated the 117th “Distance Education Information Centre” of the Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) on Pudupalayam Main Road here on Saturday.

Later, Mr. Ramanathan told presspersons that the information centre would purvey necessary details about distance education programmes offered by the university, distribute applications for admission and keep the candidates informed about the tests to be conducted by the DDE.

Therefore, the information centres would provide the vital link between the university and the candidate.
