The medical shops run by the Ponni Cooperative Stores in Salem city, Mettur, Vazhappadi and Edappadi will offer 15 per cent discount for all the medicines.
The 15 per cent discount for medicines will be available in the Amma medical shops functioning in Tharamangalam and Thatagapatti too, a press release of the Salem District Consumer Cooperative Wholesale Stores which runs the Ponni Cooperative Stores issued here said. The LPG consumers attached to the Ponni LPG section can register their names with the bank details for getting the subsidy at the marketing office at old bus stand in Salem city. The consumers should bring bank pass book and its photo copy for doing the registration, the release said.
