T.V.V. Dinakaran, nephew of jailed interim AIADMK general secretary V.K. Sasikala and current deputy general secretary of the party, visited her at Bengaluru’s Parappana Agrahara jail where she is serving her sentence in the disproportionate assets case.
Jail sources confirmed the visit and said that Mr. Dinakaran was also accompanied by a few workers of AIADMK.
“The visit lasted for about half an hour,” said the source, without divulging other details.
Transfer petition
Though there were rumours that a petition had been submitted to the jail authorities asking for a transfer to a prison in Tamil Nadu, the jail authorities did not confirm it.
