Development works reviewed

The district monitoring committee met here to review the functioning of various welfare schemes and progress of development works here recently. The committee that met under the aegis of district monitoring officer Apoorva reviewed the functioning of PDS, and progress of distribution of laptops, free livestock, gold for marriage, free electrical appliances. Further, works under the rural development agency, and departments of agricultural engineering; agriculture, horticulture, public health and sanitation, cooperatives, school and higher education were also reviewed.

Inspections were held to review the progress of new building sites for PDS shops, a public health centre and individual toilets in select blocks of the district.
